Mineral Visions Announces National Pool Tile as Master Distributor for SpectraQuartz ™ Colored Minerals

CHARDON, OH, June 7 -- Mineral Visions, a manufacturer of specialty quartz products for swimming pool, industrial flooring, and artificial turf markets, announced today that National Pool Tile is now the master distributor for its new SpectraQuartz Colored Minerals product line.

SpectrQuartz is high-purity colored quartz that is used in swimming pool plaster finishes as well as in floor, wall, deck, and concrete finishes. When mixed with pool plaster, SpectraQuartz adds color, texture, structural strength and durability to the pool’s finish. The product is available in a wide variety of standard colors and custom blends.

National Pool Tile is the largest pool tile company in the United States, and a leading supplier of decking, coping, mosaic tile, finishes and trims, and barbeque islands and accessories. Headquartered in Anaheim, CA, NPT serves pool builders, finishers, and owners nationwide through its 16 distribution centers/showrooms.

“We are excited to add SpectraQuartz to our product line,” said Don McChesney, VP Sales for National Pool Tile. “We’re extremely impressed with the quality of the product, and we think our customers are going to be very happy with the value they receive.”

SpectraQuartz is manufactured with a special process in which high-purity quartz is combined with specially developed Sun Chemical® pigment dispersions that are permanently bound to the quartz surface. The product is extremely UV, chemical, and acid resistant, and retains its color and hardness after years of exposure to sunlight and pool chemicals. According to Tim McMillin, Director of Marketing & Product Development, “This product revolutionizes the colored quartz market. We use a thermal method to adhere the pigment to the quartz grain, but we do it at very low temperatures. This provides a superior color over competitive products and SpectraQuartz can hold up in the harshest of environments.”
